Easyboot Trail
The Easyboot Trail is the easiest hoof boot in the world to apply and remove. The attachment system assures booted success throughout the trim cycle. With a tough protective shield and padded neoprene band, the boot opens up completely to easily slip on and off over most hoof shapes and sizes. The rear double Velcro® attachment protects the entire hoof wall and keeps the boot firmly in place. EasyCare Gaiters are an optional accessory (sold separately). Ideal for casual riders, the boot also doubles as a therapy boot and works well for extended wear during turnout.

Easyboot Trail - Frequently Asked Questions
Q Can I use the Easyboot Trail for endurance?
A The Easyboot Trail is designed specifically for light and medium mileage riders who ride up to 25 miles per week.
Q Why only 25 miles per week?
A It is impossible to determine a one-size-fits-all mileage threshold because every horse is different, and so is every trail. So the 25-mile designation is not a scientific one. But just as you would not run a marathon in hiking boots, it does not mean that the hiking boots will always hurt your feet. Their size, shape and weight are simply designed for a different purpose. This is also true with the Easyboot Trail, which is designed specifically for the pleasure and trail rider.
Q Where can I ride with the Easyboot Trail?
A The closure system keeps boots secure even in the toughest of trail conditions.
Q Is the Easyboot Trail comfortable for my horse?
A The sole shape is slightly longer than wide. This is an important feature allows more horses to wear the boots comfortably and securely.
Q What are the features of the Easyboot Trail?
A Features:
Sold in singles
Quick and easy to apply; no strength or force required
Available in 13 sizes to fit most breeds
Comfortable and lightweight
Drainage holes built into the sole
EasyCare gaiters are sold separately as an accessory
Q Are the Easyboot Trail boots left or right specific?
A No, the Easyboot Trail fits on both the left and the right hoof.
Q Do I need to gradually break my horse into the Easyboot Trail?
A Give your horse time to adjust to wearing the Easyboot Trail boots. The first time you fit your horse with the Easyboot Trail, start by just walking out. Gradually increase the duration and distance of rides wearing Easyboot Trail boots. Too much too soon can lead to chafing.
Q Can I purchase gaiters for the Easyboot Trail boot?
A EasyCare gaiters are sold separately as an accessory.
Q Can I turn my horse out wearing the Easyboot Trail?
A Yes, you can turn your horse out in the Easyboot Trail either to get him used to wearing or breaking in the boots or to provide protection.
Q Can I ride my horse with the Easyboot Trail over metal shoes?
A Yes. If you intend to use the Easyboot Trail over metal shoes, take the hoof measurements after the horse is newly shod to ensure a correct size. Using our hoof boots over metal shoes voids the EasyCare Guarantee.
Q Are the Easyboot Trail boots worn on all four feet?
A That is really personal preference. It depends on distance covered and type of terrain.
Q Do I require the same size Easyboot Trail on the front and rears?
A Not necessarily. Always take hoof measurements as soon as possible after a fresh trim and measure each hoof separately. Correct size selection and proper fitting are very important and will ensure maximum performance from Easyboot Trail hoof boots.
Q Can the Easyboot Trail boot get waterlogged?
A No, there are drainage holes built into the sole of the boot.
Q Does the Easyboot Trail offer good traction?
A The Easyboot Trail offers superb traction on all surfaces including aggressive mountain terrain, creek beds, asphalt and loose gravel where horses can lose their footing.
Q What's the difference between the Old Mac's G2 and the Easyboot Trail?
A The Easyboot Trail is built on the G2 chassis, but it's easier to put on and remove because there is no internal webbing strap and no buckle on the outside. It is also lighter weight and is sold in singles.
Q How much does the Easyboot Trail weigh?
A The Easyboot Trail weighs approximately 14 to 26 ounces depending on the boot size.
Q How does the Easyboot Trail make contact with the horse's leg?
A The boot makes contact with the pastern in a more concentrated area than a gaitered boot does.
